About Me

I’m a Littleton resident, mentor, volunteer, therapist, lifelong learner, musician, advocate, and leader. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).

I was raised by two school teachers and am the granddaughter of mechanical engineers and small-business owners.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Brigham Young University and my Masters in Social Work (MSW) at Howard University.

As a therapist specializing in trauma and addiction, I support individuals, couples, and groups. I love my work! I am honored to learn from my clients as they navigate challenges and step forward in resilience.

Showing up for my community is a top priority for me.

In the summer, I volunteer to coach a girls’ softball team organized through South Suburban Parks and Recreation. Prior to the COVID pandemic, I was a hospice volunteer, I sat on the board of an interfaith organization, mentored kids in foster care, worked with people who are blind, and volunteered at various homeless shelters.

I find that playing the violin and viola is a way I can connect with others and bring joy to those around me. I am a member of the Denver Pops Orchestra and perform regularly for my church. I’m also part of Soundtrack, a small ensemble group, and I’m learning the ukulele (so far I can play Edelweis and Amazing Grace).

Littleton and my family members–of both the human and canine varieties–are close to my heart. As the “fun aunt” to nine awesome nieces and nephews, you’ll often find me making balloon animals and regularly planning scavenger hunts (the most recent one in downtown Littleton).

My 11-year old niece, Maizy, made this special campaign video. Check it out:
